In explaining why he never erased Claire's memory, the Haitian confusingly stated he answered to someone higher involved in Claire's life. Bennet and the Haitian at Primatech slowed things down quite a bit. Maybe the scene was too good, because after that point the episode didn't flow as effectively. Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet, Ashley Crow as Sandra Bennet, Randall Bentley as Lyle Bennet It was simply one of the best things Heroes has done so far, right up there with Peter and Claude's escape from the rooftop last week. The scene was masterfully put together, making us sweat through all the action. Bennet told Matt, through his mind reading ability, to shoot his daughter and that she would heal herself. This was when the yelling began, both vocally and inside Matt Parkman's head. Bennet not answering their questions, Ted threatened to shoot Claire's mother, Sandra. Bennet and Claire, all leading up to one of the most incredibly tense moments of this television season. The episode did a great job of building the tension between the hostage takers, Mr. Matt was trying to think things through while Ted, full of rage, seemed hell bent on getting his revenge. It also set up the dynamic between Matt and radioactive Ted. This was a great way to show that it was never Matt's intent to pull a gun on the Bennets that he was a good guy caught in a very confusing situation. What began as a simple theft of a computer became much more complicated when the family returned home from the hospital. The episode began by showing us that Matt and Ted never planned to hold the Bennet family hostage.
